2008 Forum held on June 19 at the Lakeview Center

The Lake Lanier Association held a political forum on Thursday, June 19 at the Lakeview Center, 2057 Dawson Forest Rd., E, Dawsonville..

Twenty-two incumbents and candidates responded to our invitation to attend the event to address Lake Lanier issues. Around 120 members and guests listened to the candidates' views. Several candidates were unable to attend because of scheduling conflicts; both the Dawson and Forsyth County commissions held meetings that evening and the Gwinnett commissioners and candidates were previously committed to another function.
