Volunteer with the Lake Lanier Association (LLA)
Volunteer with the LLA to Protect Lake Lanier

Volunteers are always welcome to help with many aspects of the association’s mission in protecting Lake Lanier

  • Shore Sweep: volunteers help with the event’s organization, work at the marinas, pick up trash by land and by boat and help with the party for the volunteers
  • Adopt A Lake: the Lake Lanier Association has significant volunteer involvement in the monitoring of the lake. Members of the Adopt A Lake group are involved in a unified water quality monitoring program, collecting data regularly at locations on the lake.
  • Events: volunteers are needed to help at LLA events, including annual meetings, golf tournament, Shore Sweep and fishing tournament

If you are interested in volunteering with the Lake Lanier Association, please email your name and phone number to us at lakeinfo@lakelanier.org indicating your address of interest. Volunteers are needed for our membership, fundraising, environmental/technical, Shore Sweep and legislative committees.
